A Shakespearean Comedy
A ship is caught in a powerful storm and the vessel is shipwrecked on an island. The storm, it turns out, is a magical creation of Prospero, who was Duke of Milan before his dukedom was usurped and taken from him. Through the use of magic and the shipwrecked nobles, Prospero plots to reverse what was done to him and regain his rightful title as the Duke of Milan.
First written in 1610, this edition is derived from the book published in 1864 with 15 black & white illustrations by H. C. Selous. As always, this edition is complete and un-abridged. -
