A Shakespearean Comedy
Likely Shakespeare’s first play, Valentine is leaving Verona for Milan to broaden his horizons. He asks his best friend, Proteus, to come along with him, but Proteus is in love with Julia and refuses to leave. Soon Proteus’ father decides that Proteus must join Valentine in Milan where they both fall in love with Silvia. Julia (disguised as Sebastian) then joins the love triangle and adventure ensues.
