A young prince named Amuba is taken as a slave by the Egyptians after his father, and king of the Rebu people, is killed in battle. In Egypt, Amuba becomes servant and companion to Chebron, son of the high priest of Osiris. They soon uncover a murderous conspiracy among the priesthood with great adventure ensuing.

First published in 1889, this edition is derived from the original book with 8 black and white illustrations by John Reinhard Weguelin.  As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
