A Tragedie

The story revolves around the Moorish general Othello, his wife Desdemona, and his ensign Iago. Set in Venice, the story follows Othello’s promotion to general and his secret marriage to Desdemona, which enrages both her father Brabantio and Iago, who harbors a deep-seated jealousy towards Othello. Iago cunningly manipulates those around him, including Othello, by planting seeds of doubt about Desdemona's faithfulness.
