Narrative of the Life of David Crockett
The autobiography of David Crockett, an American folk hero, frontiersman, solider, and politician. He represented Tennessee in the U.S. House of Representatives and served in the Texas Revolution. During his last term in Congress, he collaborated with Kentucky Congressman Thomas Chilton to write his autobiography. Crockett became famous for his larger-than-life exploits popularized by stage plays. Even after his death, he continued to be credited with acts of mythical proportion.
