The book is the tenth volume in a series of twelve “coloured” Fairy Books compiled by the Langs. Well known fairy tales such as The Ugly Duckling, The Girl-Fish, and The Clever Cat, as well as many lesser known tales, are contained within the pages.
First published in 1906, this edition is derived from the original book with 50 black and white and 8 color illustrations by H. J. Ford. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
