The book is the second volume in a series of twelve “coloured” Fairy Books compiled by the Langs. Well known fairy tales such as Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, and Snowdrop (Snow White), as well as many lesser known tales, are contained within the pages.
First published in 1890, this edition is derived from the original book with 100 black and white illustrations by H. J. Ford and Lancelot Speed. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
